OUR PRACTICE

We are proud of our reputation of excellence within the orthodontic profession. Our operatory staff has been skillfully trained in orthodontic chairside assisting. We have x-ray certified technicians. Our staff follows all OSHA regulated sterilization standards. Our clerical and bookkeeping staff is ready to attend to your needs efficiently as well. Through teamwork we build each patient's confidence in our doctor and ourselves. Our goal is to treat our patients and each other in the same manner we would want to be treated.

Today there are several different kinds of braces which can be used to help achieve a healthy new smile for you. The most commonly seen are the silver, Stainless Steel Brackets. There are Porcelain (or tooth colored) brackets that are barely noticeable. Lingual Appliances, which are attached to the back side of the teeth are an option for some. And now you can even choose INVISALIGN, which are invisible clear removable appliances. Dr. Stevens has patented his "Wildsmiles" braces which are available in shapes like footballs, flowers, soccer balls and stars. We will help you decide which option is the best choice for your particular needs.

The First Appointment

Your first orthodontic appointment in our office will be a time for both patient and doctor to gather important information. We will have you fill out a health history form and take a panoramic x-ray so we have current and accurate information. You will be given a tour of the office and meet our staff. Then it is your turn to gather information. Dr. Stevens will conduct an oral examination on you and then discuss your treatment. We hope to have you leave this appointment feeling confident that you have gained valuable information concerning your specific orthodontic needs.
